This is a swap between two or more social housing tenants who have agreed to exchange to each others properties on a permanent basis, all parties involved will have to sign a new tenancy agreement with their new landlords. How long does it take to Exchange?

You can move anywhere within England Scotland Wales and Northern Ireland including off shore Islands, not including the Isle of Man or the Channel Islands. Can I pay someone to exchange with me?
No, it is illegal. Which means you and your family could be evicted from your property if you offer a cash incentive or a reward for moving. Do I need my landlord's permission to swap?
Yes, you will need to fill in paperwork and await a decision on a move; if you don't you will be liable for eviction and a fine. On what grounds can my landlord refuse permission?
